Columbus's Caribbean

Dominica, a sailing destination

"Truly spectacular, with its formidable mountains, lush valleys, deep ravines and towering pinnacles."

The emerald isle of Dominica has changed little since Columbus first set foot there. Truly spectacular, with its formidable mountains, lush valleys, deep ravines and towering pinnacles, Dominica is covered with luxuriant forests and sparkles with spectacular waterfalls. Step ashore at Roseau after clearing in and wander the streets of a town far off the normal beaten path.

An all day tour of this spectacular island is suggested. After which, Captain Andrew and Nikki will be waiting to return you to Skipping Stone and a hot shower. If it is a PAYS bar-b-q night, you can meet others from the anchored yachts, and chat or dance till the wee hours, enjoying the rather strong, free, rum punch.
